What is the cost to visit the Air Force Armament Museum?
Admission to the Museum is free and parking is free. The AFAM Foundation does appreciate and rely on donations from our visitors to help enable the Foundation to continue our mission to provide capital support to the Air Force Armament Museum for facility improvements, expansion, restoration of aircraft/munitions and to provide additional financing for the many projects for which USAF funding is not available.
Where is the Museum located?
100 Museum Drive, Eglin AFB, FL. The museum is located just outside the main gate to Eglin Air Force Base.
What are the Museum’s hours of operation?
The Museum is open 7 days a week from 9am until 5pm. The gift shop is open from 10am-4:30pm, 7 days a week.
Do you have a brochure or map?

Can we stay on the grounds after the Museum closes?
Visitors are welcome to tour the outside airpark from sunup to sundown.
Do you have wheelchairs?
The Museum does have wheelchairs for visitors to borrow free of charge.
Can I take a self-guided tour?
Yes, most visitors to the museum do tour the museum on their own.
Does the Museum offer guided tours?
Most visitors tour the museum on their own. If you have a group of 5 or more that would like to request a tour please contact Brian Olmsted at least two weeks in advance:

Yes, the museum is open to the public.
What are the Museum’s rules?
- No Unsupervised Children or Youth Groups – All children and youth groups must be accompanied by supervising adults.
- No Climbing on any exhibits
- No Bicycles, Skate Boards, Skates, Roller Blades or Roller Shoes, Running, Horseplay, or Loud Behavior
- No Crossing of Roped or Barricaded Areas
- No Smoking Inside any Building, Aircraft or Exhibit
- No Intoxicated Persons or Illegal Drug Use Permitted
- Shoes, Shirts and other Appropriate Attire Must Be Worn
- No Glass Containers
- No Guns, Knives or other Weapons are Permitted
- No Drones
